It’s been a while since we sent out a Bishosptoke and Fair Oak Independent newsletter – it simply felt wrong because of covid19 to be delivering. Hopefully, you’ll either have received our spring news letter recently or be about to receive it. Until we move from “stay at home” to “stay local” (currently expected to be early April) we are using a professional delivery company who are taking steps to follow guidance carefully. It costs quite a bit to take that approach (we do not have party funds, obvs!), but we felt it was safer for the community and our fabulous volunteers to keep delivery closely managed.
We’ve included Fair Oak this time because we felt many of the articles might be of interest to residents over the border (the grass verge half way up Olympic Way for the parish council border and end of Hardings Lane for the Borough ward border – and near Stokewood Surgery & Blackberry Drive on the east side).
We’ve been asked by residents if we can put the full newsletter online – so here it is as a pdf you can download.
